We are pleased to welcome Nancy Tyrrell, a long-time friend of the CBC and a fixture in the Chicago life science community, as the new Associate Director for Translational Activities (ADTA) and the newest addition to the CBC team. Nancy comes to CBC most recently from Shamrock Structures, where she served as VP Business Development and Flavin Ventures, where she has been a Principal. She brings a broad business savvy and perspective as well as an extensive network and knowledge of the greater Chicago community, all of which will be important additions to CBC.

“Along with my team, I’m excited to have Nancy on board as CBC’s new ADTA. Her knowledge of the community and prior strong working relationships through PROPEL, iBIO, MATTER, as well as her business expertise represent a strong set of complementary skills to those we already have within the team,”

commented Jim Audia, CBC’s Executive Director.

Nancy will take office space within INVO which should further enhance that working relationship, but will spend time at both UIC and UChicago, where she can build upon her already strong relationships there. Among her initial responsibilities will be CBC’s new Accelerator Award program and, with CBC Senior Associate Director Karen Snapp, the CBCAN oversight. Welcome aboard Nancy.
