RFA: CBC Catalyst Award
CBC invites new applications

Catalysts are one-time incentive awards (up to $250,000), focused on basic biological/ biomedical research with transformative potential, made to collaborative teams with principals and other strong representation from at least two of the CBC institutions.Please note the application guidelines (RFA) have been revised effective January 6, 2020: the Catalyst Award program aims to support basic scientific discoveries that are cutting-edge, high-risk / high-reward and address fundamental research questions. Round 30 (Fall 2020) application submission deadline: September 11, 2020, @5PM.

U of I System, DPI and IIN gifted another $10 million!
University of Illinois Board of Trustees Chairman Edwards and his wife, Anne, give $10 Million to the University of Illinois, half of which will go to U of I System’s DPI and IIN, adding momentum to the recently announced Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s $500 Million pledge to support the development of DPI.

  • Up to $100,000 for clinical and up to $50,000 for preclinical repurposing research in Meniere’s disease (proposals due March 20, 2020)
